Arrival, departure, and the practical bits

Quick check-out is there for the mornings when you want to be on the road early. In summer, traffic can build around the main junctions in Central Halkidiki and out towards Kassandra and Sithonia, so leaving with a clear head helps. If you need an invoice or you want to confirm extras, we can prepare things the night before.

We also keep a luggage room provision so you can drop bags and go for a final swim or lunch without dragging suitcases around. It is handy if your flight is later in the day and you want to squeeze in a few more hours by the sea. Just label your bags properly, it makes pick-up quicker when everyone comes back at once.

Reception hours and access

Our reception runs for 16 hours, with 24 hours access to the property. That means you can come and go late, head out for a quiet evening walk, or return from a taverna without worrying. If you are arriving very late, tell us in advance so we can give you clear instructions and avoid any confusion at the door, specially if you are tired from travel.

For work days and “just one email” moments

Even on holiday, people sometimes need to check in with work. We offer business centre provision for basic needs like printing and a calm place to sort documents. And if you are caught out without a device, a laptop or tablet will be provided upon availability. It is not meant to replace your whole office, but it is a lifesaver for boarding passes, travel documents, or a quick video call.

If you are planning remote work for a few days, do mention it early. In July and August, demand is higher, and it helps us reserve what we can for you.

Family comforts

Halkidiki is very family-friendly, and we see plenty of little ones discovering the sea for the first time. Baby cot provision is subject to availability, so it is best to request it before you arrive. If you forget, still ask, we will do our best. Travel with babies is enough work already.

For families, a couple of local notes help. Sandy beaches are common around both Kassandra and Sithonia, but in peak season the popular spots fill up quickly. Going earlier in the morning usually means calmer water and easier parking, and the light is lovely too.

Breakfast options, early starts, and day plans

Some guests want a slow breakfast, others want to be out the door for a boat trip, a hike, or a long drive down the peninsula. We offer breakfast in the room for a fee if you prefer privacy or you are travelling with a sleeping child. It is also nice after a late night out, when you want to take it easy.

Provision of early breakfast upon request is ideal if you are heading to Thessaloniki airport, or if you are planning an early beach run before the sun gets strong. In midsummer the heat can build quickly by late morning, so early starts make the day feel longer.

Lunch basket provided upon request is a simple, practical option for exploring. If you are driving around Sithonia, for example, you might stop at viewpoints, small coves, and quieter stretches where there is not always a shop nearby. Having water and something to eat means you are not forced to rush back.

Local tip for planning your day

  • For calmer seas, mornings are usually best. Afternoons can bring a bit more breeze depending on the day.
  • Keep a light layer for the evening. Even in summer, the air can cool down once the sun drops, especially near the water.
  • If you are travelling outside peak months, check opening days for tavernas and beach bars as they can change.

Housekeeping touches that feel like a holiday

Provision of turn-down service upon request is one of those small comforts people forget they love until they have it. You come back from the beach, shower off the salt, and the room feels fresh and settled for the evening.

Change of towels upon request is available, which is useful if you have been in and out of the sea all day. We try to balance comfort with sensible use of water and energy, so if you do not need a change daily, that is appreciated too.

Availability of pool towels upon request helps keep your room towels for the room. If you are heading to the beach, ask us what works best for the day. Some guests like to carry their own beach towels, others prefer to keep things light.

Little extras that save hassle

Scales available upon request are a quiet hero at the end of a trip. Halkidiki is hard to leave without olive oil, honey, or a bottle of something local in your bag. If you are flying with luggage limits, checking weight before you head off saves stress at the airport.

Where you are, and how to reach the area

Halkidiki sits southeast of Thessaloniki, with three distinct “legs”: Kassandra to the west, Sithonia in the middle, and the Athos Coast to the east. Most visitors arrive via Thessaloniki and then drive down, which is usually the easiest way to explore beaches and villages at your own pace. Buses do run to main towns, but for hidden coves and scenic stops, a car is more flexible.

Roads are generally straightforward, but in high season you should expect slower driving through busy resort stretches and around popular beach access points. Parking near well-known beaches can get tight from late morning, so an earlier start makes a big difference.

What to do nearby, depending on your mood

If you want classic beach days, you will find clear water and long sandy stretches across Kassandra and plenty of pine-backed bays in Sithonia. Water clarity is often best on calm days, and outside the busiest weeks it can feel properly peaceful. If you like to mix beach time with something cultural, Thessaloniki is doable as a day trip for museums, food markets, and an evening stroll by the sea, though it is a longer day.
